Career: Why is it so hard to choose a career? I have many that I'm interested in, why can't I just say okay...its going to be this one? Do I go pre-med, do I choose criminology, do I choose psychology? Which is it going to be? Someone should write a guide to choosing which career path to take. How do you know which one is for you? When I first started college I was going to go with criminology/criminal justice. I love it, enjoy it, and find it very interesting. Then I thought I'm going to double major in psychology and study the criminal mind, see what makes it tick. However, members of my family put me down and put my ideas down until the only acceptable choice is pre-med, the problem is that I am not a biology person. It doesn't keep me interested. I have to make myself do the work. In the other two though its like I'm connected to them, they work for me. So, how do you choose what to do with the rest of your life and find a way around your family?

I wish I knew how to deal with unpleasant neighbors. I just moved into a new apartment complex and I don't know what my neighbor has against my roomate and I but he's always doing something. Like one night he opened his door and just started screaming profanity at us while we were smoking. Then a few days later he had burnt the words "fuck you" into our grass with lighter fluid he stole off our grill. Then we were leaving one day and he was pointing lasers at us and then a couple of days ago he threw a beer bottle at my car while I was standing next to it. So, I don't know how to deal with unpleasant neighbors. I miss where I used to live because I didn't have neighbors. Now the ones that I have are pricks. I don't know what to do about it. I have a friend thats a cop but he said we wouldn't be able to prove that he did it so it wouldn't do us any good to call the cops on him. I'm going to talk to my land lord if he does anything else. Its the only thing I can think to do. He's being rediculous and there is no reason for it. We haven't done anything to him.

A loved One...

Three years ago I met my friend,

He's been with me through thick and thin,

I cherish everyday I have with him,

Dancing through life as we both grin.

We love our lives the best we can,

Respecting our culture and our land,

We fight for our loved ones hand in hand,

Spending our days in the Iraqi sand.

Two months ago my friend passed away,

I cry for him day after day,

I was with his famlily when the Soldier said what he had to say,

As his mother buckled and screamed not my Jay...

Now everyday I wear his ring,

It states that he was a great Marine,

He gave his life so his country would see,

That not everyone is as privelaged as we...
